Searching my offline music only gives me some, not all

Before the iOS 11 update, I could "search" a band name in offline mode and it would give me ALL the songs I have in my playlist by that band. Now it seems it will only bring up 3-4 songs, not all of them. Sometimes I just want to listen to ONE album or ONE band, not my whole playlist. Anyone else having this issue??? Is there something I'm doing wrong; did the iOS update change this function somehow? Or is this a problem that will be fixed?
