My Question or Issue
Shazam is synching new Shazams to my playlist on Spotify, but not my previously existing ones.
I have already disconnected and reconnected my Spotify and Shazam accounts, deleted old/empty "My Shazam Tracks" playlists, performed a clean reinstall of Spotify, reinstalled Shazam, restarted my iPhone, cleared my Spotify cache, and offloaded both Shazam and Spotify in my iPhone Settings.
When I do all of that and re-link my Shazam and Spotify accounts, the "My Shazam Tracks" playlist has 0 songs in it, even after hours of waiting for it to update. In the Shazam app, I have 665 Shazams.
Well, I have left a comment here this weekend where, at the very end of it, I pointed out to a couple of old open-sourced repositories from GitHub, free for all to use, and which could help overcoming the issue—while neither Spotify nor Shazam (or both?) get this right for users. I reckon this—the mere pointing out to an inocuous possibility—is neither promoting nor advertising (in essence or function), and surely there is nothing commercial in nature about any of those dusty repositories mentioned. Nonetheless, I was greeted with this dystopian message a couple of days ago:
Post removed.

Hi, The Community Mod team here!
I wanted to pop you a note to explain why we had to remove your last post. The post went against our Spotify Community Guidelines 9: “Do not post information or create threads for the promotion or advertisement of commercial products or services”.
Cheers!
Thanks for being a Spotify Community member.
—no, thank you!
can you pm me those links
Same problem, and now all my 800 shazam spotify playlist is gone!
It's terrible even years after this still happens.
Please PM me the links too, i want my music on spotify back (and probably won't upgrade to premium again)
Can"t access my Shazamed songs on the webinterface as apparently, they are encrypted by icloud...any idea?
2024 and this issue is still not resolved.
I am a developer, maybe I can help you debug it (for free)? 🙃
I would be interested
Finally, I solved it by adding manually all the songs to the shazam playlist (almost 600 songs), in the same order I had them, tedious.
However I will move to other platform, as last spotify windows update is terrible, with almost 160 playlists I can't order them the way I want, this was in previous versions so had to downgrade.
this and other UI aspects are lingering issues for what in internet time is an eternity – this demeanor leaves little room for any hope to have NYSE: SPOT now starting to care all of a sudden
Same! I have 439 Shazam’s and 0 on Spotify. How can they sync up to my Spotify? This is ridiculoussss seems iCloud Apple Music syncs automatically
