Shuffle and loop not working when connected to car

When I am connected to my car via Bluetooth I can use shuffle or loop. The buttons light up for .2 seconds then revert back. If I leave car mode it does the same thing. If I shuffle a playlist or artist and then connect to my car it unshuffles.

Thanks for reaching out. Strange behaviour indeed. So we can investigate this in detail, could you please provide us the following:

• What model car do you have?
• What kind of Spotify integration do you have - Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, integrated option, CarThing or simply connected via bluetooth?
• When did this start happening?
• A video of the behaviour. 

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate. If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.

As suggested in the other thread you've posted, please check for pending system updates and see if a clean reinstall makes any difference.
