Shuffle play in alphabetical order

I started playing a playlist in shuffle mode, and realized it's going in alphabetical order.  Has anyone seen this before?

Strange, sometimes my app seems to get a little bit confused too. If you go to the now playing screen is that shuffle button highlighted?

It seemed to correct itself.  Sometimes I think the computer overloads are just out to get me.
