Hi Wambowill, you seem to think that I might be something to do with Spotify. In case you do, I am not, I am just another user who happened to start this thread.
I have had another email discussion with Spotify. they say:

In the light of this, can I recommend (to as many of you who haven't given up on Spotify and who read this) that you do post on their ideas board. I don't think that the copied link above is live A search for Spotify Ideas Board should take you to the log-in page, but no guarantees!
We will still need to vote for it, it seems. I can't sort this out immediately, if someone else puts it on the ideas board before I can get round to it, please let us know here.

For more info and troubleshooting steps to try regarding Shuffle, we'd recommend taking a look at this Spotify Answer. If that doesn't do the trick, we'd suggest posting in the Help Board related to the device you're having troubles and we'll be happy to lend a hand there.
