Slow offline playlist Wi-Fi Sync - Spotify on iPhone 5

Hello,

I am unsure why, but for some reason Wi-Fi sync appears to be very slow on my iPhone 5 when attempting to make my playlist "avaliable offline". I have an iPhone 4S aswell, which has remarkably fast Wi-Fi syncing, this is not the case for my iPhone 5. I am certain this is not due to my Wi-Fi at home as my speeds are 117 mbits down and 2.7 up. With such a fast download speed, you'd think a 7 mb song would sync in under a second. This is the case on my 4S, but not the 5.

Also, oddly, when using LTE, the sync speed is significantly faster than my wifi for my 5.

I do not think this is a router issue, rather a setting on my iPhone 5. If it helps I do use an Airport Extreme for Wi-Fi.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Same issue here, iphone 5 with Verizon USA...

Can't believe they haven't addressed this yet...

Same issue...iPhone 5, USA account, syncing in the UAE. it take forever :((

experiencing samething and finally decided to google it before i rest my phone.i dont use  my spotify anymore since sync dont seem to work

Set my router to broadcast at wireless B 2.4ghz and my sync is way faster over wifi now, it truly is a darn shame they can charge the same premium price without having fixed this long-standing issue. Get it together Spotify, this has been an issue for months, I'll definitely be looking into to MOG and other alternatives.

Same issues here, syncing in Australia. Lightning fast over LTE, abysmal on wi-fi. iphone 5, latest updates of spotify app and iOS.

Spotify, if you want to keep charging me for premium, you have to fix this soon.

Have this issue too. iPhone5 with iOS6.1.4, same WiFI network, my New iPad with iOS6.1.3 was very fast to sync, but iPhone5 was extremely slow, this is AWFUL!!!

Same with iPhone 5s iOS 9.3.2 took me 24+ hours downloading 219 songs, while in my outdated android phone took only less than an hour.

I'm also having problems I'm trying to download a song but It keeps saying there spelling no space when there clearly is.if this keeps up I might reconsider using Spotify
