Some artists missing from the "following" list

Some artists missing from the "following" list

I noticed that there are some artists that I follow who do not appear in the "following" list of my profile.

This is a problem when I forget the name of some of my followed artists and I don't find them no longer on the list, loosing this way the possibility to listen to him forever!

Someone else has the same problem? How can I solve it? there is no other way to access the full list of all my artists?

many thanks in advance

Spotify consistently drops the people ive followed, that i know i have followed

I have the same issue.. I've even deleted my old account and created a new one, but the problem persists.

Hey @Gnanjari

Please read this thread and see if this is the same problem you are having. If so, this is a known issue that is being looked into.

Thanks, that is exactly the same problem I'm having. Let's hope they can find a solution.

@Gnanjari

Thanks for confirming. Hopefully this will be improved in the future.

7 years later and this still seems to be an issue.  In fact, I think I even found a thread from 2011 speaking about something related to this issue, if not this exact issue.

Why, after closing spotify do artists/bands I follow end up under "Recommended artists" when I open spotify again?

Surely there is a better fix than "Create a new account and let us transfer your liked songs....BUT not your followed artists, you will have to like all 1200+ of those..."  Come on.  Way to treat a paying premium customer and other possible customers.  Following 1200 artists/bands is timely.  The onus is not on the customer to do the work, the onus is on the company supplying the service that has been paid for, to actually improve it so it functions properly.  I will give spotify a few months to fix this issue.

(I have 5450 liked tracks and 1240 followed artists on version 8.5.87.921 for my Huawei P10 Lite, Android version 8.0.0.   I have tried all of the generic fixes like restarting my phone, turning off my phone and turning it back on again, uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify, signing out of and signing back in to Spotify).  I only use this on my Android device but have tested it on 2 other devices.)
