Some songs synced offline to my iPhone 5 running IOS 7.1.4 will not play

Some songs synced offline to my iPhone 5 running IOS 7.1.4 will not play

This started happening 2 days ago, some songs on a new playlist I synced would not play. Spotify would switch to the next song, but no time bar would come up and the song would just freeze, I skipped a few songs and found some songs that would play, but they were interspersed with ones that wouldn't.

I googled around and tried a clean install of Spotify on my iPhone and then re-synced all my songs to offline (about 800 songs in extreme quality). This did not help. It made it worse actually, as now even more songs won't play.

My iPhone has more than enough space. 16GB available; and that's after the sync. I've also tried logging in and out.

Wondering what to do now, help would be appreciated as I love my music and Spotify has been amazing!

Hello!

Have you tried editing the sync quality in the settings? Also, do the songs you are syncing, do they stream fine? Or is it just offline mode?

Hope this helped 🙂

Whats a Spotify Rock Star?

I have the same kind of problem.

I have can't play "legacy" by Eminem on his latest album Marshall Mathers LP2 (the deluxe version) offline on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4). It works, online thoug (!?). On my mac it works both online and offline. Weird??

I also have more than enough space on my phone.

Can somebody please help, as it seems more people are having this kind of problem?

Hello!

Can you try the same songs in normal quality and see if they work? 🙂 If you want you can create a new playlist with the songs that do not work, and delete them from your already synced playlist (for now) and add the songs that wont play to the playlist and try syncing them in normal quality.

Hope this helped 🙂
