Song keep skipping or replaying midway

My Question or Issue

Every time I’m playing music in my car it either skips to the next song mid way through one song. Or it replays the song midway and then skips it. It’s getting really annoying

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community.

Could you let us know what method you're using to connect to your car - Bluetooth, cable, Car Play, etc. ? the more info you could us on your set up, the quicker we'll get to the bottom of this.

In any case, we recommend that you start troubleshooting by performing a a clean reinstall since this step can usually solve issues rendering Spotify to malfunction in the way you're describing. You can find the necessary steps here.

Thank you for your reply and confirmation.

Can you confirm if you performed a clean reinstall of that app as @Mihail mentioned above?

It would also be great id you can check if Spotify version and the device are up to date.

Some other useful steps to try is to:

• Phone: restart, or power off and on
• Vehicle:
  • Restart the car engine
  • Restart the head unit (if possible)
