My Question or Issue
I was able to sync couple months ago but now I cannot. Costs me hours to do but still not work.
Songs imported from local files can be played on desktop but not showing up on iPhone (actually showed up but grayed, not available)
I of course use the same private Wifi network all the time.
Tried these work around but still no work:
- Turn off Firewall
- Reinstall
- Re-import local files / Change folder
- Disable / Enable Local files in Settings
- Change wifi network (all private)
This sucks!! If this cannot be fixed, I will end my premium subscription and move on with other music app.
You are not alone. I've seen many versions of this problem which I share (although I have a MacBook + iPhone mix). All of us seen to have exhausted all the advice in all the various threads but with no result. An empty playlist shows up on my iPhone but no tracks. I see the playlist and songs in the web view, though all the songs are greyed out.
I hope someone figures out a resolution soon.
Hey folks,
Thanks for posting here 🙂
We hope you don’t mind us replying now as we just stumbled upon this thread.
It's a good idea to give these steps a go to see if that makes a difference.
We'd suggest you also try these steps and run clean reinstall. This one is more thorough than the usual reinstall.
If you've already tried these steps or some additional troubleshooting steps, let us know. That way we'll able to avoid any repeating steps.
You can also send us a screenshot of what you're seeing. We'll look into this further.
Keep us in the loop.
For reasons that are beyond my understanding, without any further changes and with it being broken for a week, the playlists are now in sync. So this is resolved for me. Random!
Hey @rswh66,
Thanks for keeping us posted.
We're glad to know that it was sorted out. Maybe there was just a brief hiccup with the syncing or the network.
If you need a hand with anything else, the Community is here for you.
Cheers 🙂
