Songs skipping/not finishing

There are about 10 songs that skip about a minute or two into them and then it goes on to the next song on my ipod touch. It works fine on my desktop and on the ipod, it skips in the same spot every time. I've tried re-syncing/downloading them to the ipod but it still does it. Not sure how to fix this but it's sure annoying!

Have you tried a complete clean reinstallation to clean out all of your cache?

No, I havent but I'm not sure how to do it on the ipod touch?? Would I lose all of my current songs and have to redownload them if I did a clean reinstallation??
