Songs wont play past a few seconds.

I primarily use spotify to  listen to music on my phone. For the past month or so, whenever I attempt to play a song that is not downloaded onto my phone, it will play for a few seconds and then stop playing entirely. I have noticed that this happens specifically when i am using cellular data to stream songs. I know for a fact that my connection is strong, so it's not an issue with the data speed. please help!!!

Just to check - does restarting your device by holding Home + Lock for 10 seconds help at all? Also, does it work fine without any issues while being connected to a WiFi network? 

We'll see what we can suggest.
