Sound dissappears after pausing/phone call with bluetooth headphones

Last happened on iPhone 7 version 11.2.1.

This has happened quite a lot lately for me.Not even restarting the phone and the headphones resolve the issue when it happens. I just have to wait/restart more times and suddenly all is normal again. Meaning I don't even know a working fix to immediately restore function.

This problem does not occur every time i pause or make/receive a phone call. More like 1/3 times for calls and more rarely on normal pause (where i leave the app in the background while doing something else briefly).

Scanning the forums shows a bunch of similar topics for all plattforms, dating back to 2014. And yet no solutions.

Maybe we could get an answer from Spotify?
