Spotify Crashes After Plugging in iPod

Spotify Crashes After Plugging in iPod

I recently purchased Spotify premium to sync my music to my iPod. After restoring my iPod, I attempted syncing it in Spotify. Spotify immediately crashed, I read a few boards saying to disable iTunes from starting automatically, so I did that. Now everytime I plug my iPod into my computer, my Spotify crashes immediately and I cannot sync my music. Does anyone have any idea what to do?

5th generation iPod classic

It sounds like you might be having the same issue as outlined in this thread

Have you tried a clean reinstallation of the client?

Tried reinstallation. Restarted computer. Got as far as the option where it said "Erase and Sync iPod', and immediately after clicking that button, Spotify crashed

If it helps, Spotify is only having this problem when the iPod is connected. Whenever I safely remove the iPod and restart Spotify without the iPod plugged in, Spotify works fine.

exactly same problem with my ipod...
