Spotify app not opening after 3.3.0 update

Hello,

Today I updated to Spotify 3.3.0 on iPhone 4S with iOS 7.1.2.

Spotify app does not even open. I deleted and re-installed it but it still does not work.

Thanks for help.

Have you tried deleting the app, restarting your phone, and then reinstalling Spotify?

Same issue with Iphone 4 7.1.2 even with the latest update 3.3.0. Been unable to open spotify since a month or so I think.

The only time it worked was when i uninstalled and reinstalled the app but when i closed it and tried to re-open it after that, the same issue appears again : blocked on the logo screen.

Deleting and rebooting the phone everytime i want to use spotify is not really an option 🙂

Hi there,
I'm having the same problem. I updated the app today and since then it doesn't even open the app. Tried deleting and reinstalling but it's the same. My phone is an iPhone 4.

It works after deleting the app, restarting the phone, and then reinstalling Spotify. However when I download music for offline listening, it crashes again the next time. It cannot seem to load the offline music even though I have lots of free space and no other apps.

Having the same issue, tried the delete/restart/reinstall but yeah either a second opening or syncing music seems to kill it.

Same issue here too. When I click on the app the spotify symbol displays in the center of the screen, but the software does not open.

Tried reinstalling the software and nothing changed.

Tried deleting, reseting the phone and then reinstalling and got nothing.

The issue here is on an Iphone 5S version 7.1.2.

Need help!

Hey @user-removed @tioci @parties @mendramo @PascalPezet

Could you try updating to the latest version of iOS (8.3)?

Let us know if the problem persists.

Thanks

No I can't do that. It's an iPhone 4.

Hey @user-removed

I'll take a closer look at the issue you're experiencing with offline syncing. I'll follow up via Private Message regarding this.

Hi , I ve the same problem with the latest version on iphone 6 plus IOS 8.1

Any chance you guys can get upgraded to iOS 8.3?

We think this could be the fix.

Thanks

I actually did make the upgrade to 8.3 and while the app opens and is able to play music, it logs me off when the app closes.

I have to log in again, and resync all of my music.

I'm currently resyncing, I'll reply later and report my findings..

Now I'm getting problems saying that there's not enough storage space to store offline content, but my phone has 80gb free and I'm only downloading about 1000 songs at normal quality, there should be more than enough space..
