Spotify app on iPhone won't let me log in

I have been at this several times for the last few weeks and I'm begining to become very frustrated. I cannot log into Spotify through the app on my iPhone; however, if I long in through a web browser, it's fine. Through the iPhone app I will click "log in" and type in my information and when I submit I get a lovely box saying that an account has already been created with the address pops up (which is obvious, it's mine haha). I'm just trying to figure it out and have tried deleted the app and reinstalling it. Please help.
