Spotify closes while playing a song

I dont if it’s just my problem or somebody else experiences the same issue. I start playing my playlists and before the first song is finished the app just closes. I tried everything a different device, restarting my phone, and my phone is on the newest update. I think the update might have caused the problem because a friend who didn’t have the newest update didn’t experience the problem but after she updated their spotify she had the same problem. Has somebody else experienced this problem ?

Could you let us know if you're still experiencing this? If so, it's well worth running a clean reinstall to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.

If this doesn't do the trick, would you mind sending us a short screen recording of the issue happening so we can take a closer look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).

Lastly, we suggest that you exclude the Spotify app from any battery saver or data optimization settings that might be active on your phone.
