Spotify closing itself mid track

Hello! i have this ongoing issue that has effected my listening for the past couple weeks where after a few songs Spotify will close itself halfway into a song, ive tried to clear my cache and nothing seems to work; its been getting worse where it’ll now stop so often i cant listen.

Ive seen a similar post but nothing worked on my end when trying 😞

If you haven't followed the full steps for a clean reinstall, please do so. If the issue persists, see if the same happens with different networks, both mobile data and Wi-Fi. If you use any kind of VPN, disable it as it may be interfering with proper functionality.

Why It's Happening:

Your iPhone is running iOS 10, which is too old for the current Spotify app.
Spotify now requires iOS 13 or later.

How to Fix It:

1. Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version available (iPhone 8 supports up to iOS 16).

   • Go to: Settings > General > Software Update

2. Reinstall Spotify after updating:

   • Delete the app, restart your phone, then reinstall it from the App Store.
