Spotify connect device repeatedly missing in ios device list after android connection

My Question or Issue

Since about two months, my Onkyo TX-8250 device repeatedly goes missing in my Spotify connect devices list, as soon as my wife uses the same Onkyo device with her Android phone with Spotify connect.

When reinstalling Spotify and rebooting my iPhone 8, it shows up again and until my wife uses it again! On my old iPad (ios 9, old Spotify version), it works perfectly, same for the android phone.

--> Seems to be an issue with the new Spotify version!

Any help from Spotify is highly appreciated!

I have the same issue though slightly different devices:
- Onkyo TX-NR676E
- my wife's iphone with latest iOS version and spotify version > Onkyo shows up as a spotify connect option in her spotify app
- on my iphone with latest iOS version and spotify version > Onkyo DOESN'T show up as a spotify connect option in my spotify app
