Spotify crashes when my phone moves

For the past two weeks I have not been able to run or even walk while using the Spotify app on my phone. When my phone is rotated or moved Spotify starts pausing, skipping through songs, fast forwarding. I have redownloaded the app and restarted my phone several times and it has not made any difference. I have an iPhone 7 running iOS 11.3. This problem has been very frustrating because I love Spotify but I have been unable to use the app on my mobile device. I would really like to solve this issue.
