Spotify crashing on iPhone 5

Can any one help with the following. I am a spotify premium user on Mac and iPhone. Yesterday, I began suddenly having problems with Spotify on the iPhone. It just cuts out/crashes after a few seconds, I need to restart the app, and it cuts out again. Have been running Spotify on this phone for over a year without problems. The phone otherwise is working fine, as is spotify on my Mac. I made no software changes before this problem started up, but did update the app on my phone after the problems started, without effect. 

Any thoughts/suggetions would be greatly apprreciated.
