Spotify doesn't let me connect on Iphone because of being in a foreign country.

Hi there and looking for help within this community and or Spotify.

I moved to Ireland eight month ago and stopped using the Premium account because I generally dont listen to music that often. I discovered I need to change the country in settings to be able to continue to use spotify free. I did change the settings to Ireland but still on my Iphone spotify wouldn't let me connect with the pop-up that I only can use spotify free for 14 days in a foreign country.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem because if I listen to music on spotify, I mainly do so with my mobile.

That's weird! Alright, could you check if your country is still set to Ireland here? And then open the Web Player and play a song. After that, could you try again on your iPhone? Let me know how that goes.

Hi Huib,

I hope you are still there solving issues because I have the same problem again.

All settings are fine but I can't connect with the free version on my Ipad nor my Iphone because I am supposedly in a different country then the settings.

I am not sure how to solve this. I tried the approach from last time and even set the settings in my iphone and ipad for the region to Ireland.

I am in Ireland and I assume I am using proxy as no vpn is connected according to Iphone and Ipad settings.
