Spotify doesn't link Local Files between my PC and iPhone

I want to listen to certain region-locked songs on Spotify using Local Files. I put them into the local files folder on my PC and enabled Local Files on my PC and iPhone and connected them to the same WiFi network, but they won't sync. I tried restarting my devices and redownloading Spotify but it still doesn't work. I did manage to get them on my iPhone using iTunes, but the songs aren't the same as on PC.

I'm having the same and I think I figured out what's causing it but the fix can pretty much only come from Spotify's side if it is.

Hi folks,

Could you confirm that you've tried the steps shown in this article? The same files need to be present both on your PC and your phone in order for Spotify to recognize them.

Yes the same exact files are on both the Desktop and Mobile, I've also made a post about this same issue but with a lot more details about what I believe is the cause.
