Hey there @rs2112

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community!

Just to confirm, when you re-downloaded the app to the watch, did it show as downloading but then not appear on the watch?

Also, you mentioned that you checked for pending updates on the phone's and watch's OS and confirmed there wasn't any. In this case, it's well worth running a clean reinstall of the app on your iPhone to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.

Lastly, make sure your Apple Watch and iPhone are on the same Wi-Fi network or connected via Bluetooth.

Let us know how it goes.

The app is on the watch just not showing on the front face of the watch where it normally does in the bottom right corner? And normally if I play music on my phone the song would automatically come up on my watch and it doesn’t. The app shows in the list of apps and it’s set to show on watch in the watch app but this only disappeared from the face of the watch yesterday and nothing seems to be fixing it? Do you mean I need to remove and reinstall Spotify on my iPhone and see if that works? I feel it’s a watch issue though but I contacted Apple and they directed me to Spotify for help!

Hey @rs2112

Thanks for this info.

That's correct, we do mean performing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your iPhone as the Watch app depends on the iOS app.

We also recommend trying to force a sync by opening the Watch app on your iPhone > General > Reset > Reset Sync Data. This will force your iPhone and your watch to rebuild app data connections.

If none of the above steps do the trick, would you mind changing the watch face to see if the same happens? You can try adding Spotify again from a different face to test this.

Keep us posted on how it goes.
