Spotify is buggy on iOS 12.1.2

My Question or Issue

When I have my iPhone on standby, Spotify open (not listening to music) and I don't use my iPhone for a few minutes and I come back wanting to search a song on Spotify, it's always infinitly loading and wont load any Artist pages or any not downloaded playlists/albums (sidenote: spotify doesn't think I'm offline or something and would still connect to my PC like normal). When I restart Spotify everything works like it should but after leaving my iPhone on standby a few minutes and the problem recurs.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

Also, there's a newer iOS update, 12.1.4, could you try updating to it?

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
