Spotify on car stereo

I had been using an iPhone SE for years and had been connecting my phone through the headphone jack into my car stereo but now I've got an Phone 8 and it doesn't have a headphone jack, only lightning now. I bought the Apple Lightning to Headphone 3.5 mm Jack Adapter but it wasn't good, the sound was incredibly low and kept cutting out whenever the cable moved slightly. Whats the best way to play audio via spotify in car stereo now?
