My Question or Issue

Spotify will not display Galaxy Buds + as an output option even though it is correctly paired.  The Galaxy earbuds will work with other apps and stops when I switch over to Spotify.  Apple Airpods works fine but just not Samsung Galaxy Buds+.

Hey there @dypdyp,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community!

It'd be great to follow the steps you'll find here under Not Working? together with a clean reinstall before giving it another try.

Could you also try unpairing the AirPods, so that only the Galaxy earbuds are connected with your phone, to see if that makes a difference?

Let us know how it goes!

Awesome! It worked! No idea why I didn’t do that first. Thank you!

I did a full reinstall and they still won’t show up anywhere on my Bluetooth devices or airplay

Hey @Beanz_boi,

Thanks for bringing this up.

You mentioned a reinstall, but was it a clean reinstall like the one described here?

Could you also check, that the background refresh on your phone is activated for Spotify? Here is how to do that.

Keep us posted,

Cheers!

Hey there @Beanz_boi

Thanks for your reply.

Would you mind checking if the OS of your iPhone has any pending updates?

On another note, we'd like to know if this has always happened or if it started happening after a specific event such as an update.

We'll be on the lookout.
