Spotify on my iPhone is almost useless

It never synchs. It always pauses. Streaming is very slow, songs stutter, and some times take about 25 to 30 seconds to start streaming. When I'm in a hurry and I need my stuff synched while doing some stuff before leaving the house, I grab the phone on the way out to the "Spotify paused blah blah" message.

I have a collection of 150 songs that I want to synch for offline access, and after four days of continuous use, only 40 songs are available offline.

The app designers are clearly more worried about server load than serving music paying customers in a pleasant way.

Is it possible somebody else is using your account and that is why you get the spotify paused message?

I don't believe that is a possibility. It's linked to my Facebook account. The app has a habit of pausing streaming after some time has elapsed with no "perceived" activity. Even though I may be listening, I would have to do something on my phone to remind the app that I'm still listening and have not idled.

I think this is aweful. I have a premium account and I should not have to worry about mucking with my phone for the app to continue synching or streaming my music.

Furthermore, the streaming is extremely sluggish. I have a 20mbit connection, so it's definitely not me. There are constant interruptions.

In my opinion, two things have happened here:

1. They need some more streaming bandwidth.

2. They app designers went to far when they considered how to save bandwidth and cut down on idle streaming.
