Spotify on the most recent version without the new update

Title might be a little confusing, but let me explain.

You know the recent spotify update, the one that allows you to scroll through 30 second clips of an album/discography? Yeah, well i don’t have that yet. I am on version 8.9.16, the most recent version, just to be clear.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? is this normal? Help is appreciated, Thanks.
