Spotify pausing, skipping and turning on Siri on iPhone by itself

Hi I have been having trouble with my Spotify app for at least a month now. It keeps pausing, skipping songs and turning on Siri on my iPhne for no reason, even if my phone isn't in the home menu. I have tried turning on and off my phone, resetting my phone, changing earphones and even at desperate times deleting and re installing the app but it continues to malfunction. Please give me a solution. Thank you :).

Mine has been doing the exact same thing for probably a month or so now and it never used to do that! I thought it was my phone because I had to take it to verizon when my phone was not able to run an update but they got it to work and everything else works except spotify! How long has yours been doing it?

Mine has been doing the exact same thing! I updated my phone, i un-installed Spotify and reinstalled and rebooted my phone and it's still doing the same thing. Seems like every time my cell moves in my pocket my spoify pauses or skips or stops or Siri comes on, super annoying!!!

Same here, not sure if it's because my iphone 5 is too old and not coping with the latest spotify update?
