Spotify radio stops and starts playing every few seconds on iPhone 4 over G3

Hi all,

This has just started and is really really annoying !!

I have tried the fix i.e. delete the app - reboot iPhone - re install the App

no good

I also quit all push notifications and gapless play

is anyon else haing this problem ??

I have the lateset iOs software and latest App

Help ??

I assume G3 means 3G?

Does this happen when playing playlists? Or is it only radio?

yes it happens with playlists

any ideas ?

there was another thread about this  from 2012 but it stopped for some reason. I was hoping it would have been sorted by now.

What iOS are you running? I know some people have been reporting this on iOS 6.1.1.

I just updated the software last night to iOS 6.1.1 in the hope that it would help as it was happening with the previous softwarte too

Yes, it is happening to me as well.  And we are not alone.  I have went back with itunes until it is resolved.  Almost unusuable on my iPad.  I have tried everything from the troubleshooting pin and it still happens.  I did some research on this problem and it has been around for years.  I am on the verge of cancelling and using the free version for discovery and then purchasing on Amazon.  Very sad as I used to love Spotify.  

Also, the "workaround" for me is to touch the transport button to move the song 1 second and then it will play for another minute or so.  I am losing faith they can fix it. 😞

ah so Im not alone in this really irritating problem !

I saw there was a thread about the same problem here :

but it was discontinued to stop any confusion ???

the only thing confusing here is why we pay for a service that doesnt actually work !!
