Spotify removing the Recently Played section in an October 2020 app update?

Most of what and how I listen to music using Spotify is based off of the Recently Played section of the app. Once I find some albums to listen to, I’ll rotate listening to all the different albums in my Recently Played section. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced the same or a similar issue, and if Spotify is doing away with and not bringing back the Recently Played section?
