The issue seemed to have returned again. As I was searching for an artist name currently and it kept saying 'couldn't load the page'. I had restarted the app, my phone, logged out and reinstall the app. Still its stuck in the same error. I couldnt show a photo as it seem to only be on my iphone after updating it to the lates iOS.
The search function suddenly stopped working and returns the message ‘Couldn’t load the page’. I have tried all the suggestions in previous posts, including restarting the iPad, reinstalling Spotify, clearing the cache etc. but nothing seems to work. Has anyone had a similar problem? Any solutions?
Thanks

My Question or Issue
All of a sudden the Seach function isn't available in Spotify on our iPad.
I get a message saying it couldn't load the Search page and if I want to try again - see attachment. Nothing happens if I try to reload.
It is an essential feature of the app, and weird that it has stopped working when everything else works fine, even new suggestions etc., so there must be some connection to the main server.
Granted it is an older version and older IOS, but it a very specific item that fails.
I have tried to log out, restart the iPad, clear cache - more or less everything.
Anyone else experiencing this or have any ideas?
Thanks✨✨
Same here, search is broken. Its an old iPad so no updates available.

Hey folks,
Thanks for posting on the Community and for all the details you've included @Tjcph & @Medienkanzler!
Looking at the info you've sent over, we can confirm the OS versions you're currently running doesn't meet the minimum system requirements. You will need to be on iOS 16.1 or above to use the Spotify app on your devices. You can check this support article for more details.
We recommend making sure you are using the most recent version of the Spotify App, and have updated your operating system to the latest version. To update the OS, go to Settings > General > Software update > Install now. Note: If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now.
If you can’t update your OS, you can still access Spotify on your device via Web by using this link: open.spotify.com. You will be able to log in, see your playlists, Liked Songs, etc. You can also continue to use Spotify on other devices with an updated OS.
We hope this clears things up!
Now excuse me. Ive been paying for the Family plan forever and this is how you treat me? Are you seriously expecting me to replace my perfecrly working iPad just for you?
EDIT: For me the problem disappeared by reinstalling the app despite I’m on iOS 15.8.5.
