Spotify skipping every other song on playlist

when i play music from my playlist, every other songs is skipped

You can start off by performing a clean reinstall of the app with the steps here. 

If the issue persists, could you let us know if you experience this multiple devices or just on your phone?

We'll also need to know if this only happens in one particular playlist and if it does, it would be great if you can send us its URI (you can get that by clicking on the three dots > Share > Copy Spotify URI).
