Spotify stops playing after 1minute

Since you guys wouldn't give the other once a helpful answer I hope you'll finally take your te and listen/read this.

So for 2weeks I've had the same problem, my tracks starts playing but stops again at 1minute, and it doesn't stop in a way that it isn't synced, there just the music that stops coming an the play button is still there (as if it's playing normally).
I've tried:
Reinstalling spotify
Restarting my iPhone
Synced with my computer
Restarted my wifi/Internet
Used offline playlist (all tracks fully synced)

So where is the real problem my dear spotify crew? I've tried all of the stuff you've told me and others. Nothing helped anyone of us. I'm so furious I could probably throw my iPhone out of the window, I miss my daily music. Don't ignore this problem like I've seen some other posts getting ignored.. It's a great concept that you're having with spotify and it's just truly sad that my spotify havnt been working properly for about 2weeks.

Hello,

 

I'm having the same issue on my IPAD2.  I cannot play more than 1min 30sec of a track and if I skip forward it will play nothing of the next track.  This is in all mode of the the application e.g.. playlist, search or radio.

 

I have closed and reopened the application I have also removed and reinstalled the application onto my ipad.  I am running the latest application available through Itunes.

 

I have check and have the same issue on various internet connections. The same version of the app works fine on my iphone.

 

Any help or advice would be appreciated,

Day 4 now... I'm posting all over now... Can't waste my precious $ on a subscription that doesn't work... How do I get my money back?

I have the same issue have tried all the step, changing settings, reinstalling, etc. very frustrating works find on my iPhone, but holding off the latest update just in case. Any ideas?

Could you give me some information on what mobile operators you guys have? For example Telia, Telenor, Tele2 etc.

Also, which country do you live in? It seems that this problem is only occurring for users in the nordic countries, and not at all in the US or UK for example.

 

We're trying to solve this issue for you guys 🙂

 

I only have this problem on my iPad, not on my iPhone, so I have no mobile operator.

I have this issue on my iPad2 in the uk. Have followed all the suggested steps with no change the iPad app does not play more than half a track.

Just for the record, I'm in the US and have been having this problem for about 3 days now.  Very frustrating!  Any help?

I have uninstalled/reinstalled, forced shut down, everything, and mine does this too. I have not been able to use Spotify on my iPhone, but am still paying for it!!!!

It works fine on my desktop, but not mobile.

 

Anyone else have a suggestion? I'm ready to cancel my subscription, paying for something that doesn't work!

I have Telia, but the same problem occurs if Im on my wifi witch is on open fiber. The problem is still here altough it have gotten a little better with time!

Have the same problem. Re-installed app on ipod touch but it still switches off at either 90 secs or a couple of minutes or so. This means the app is unusable and a big chunk of Spotify's offering simply doesn't work. What is the explanation and when will we have a 100% reliable fix?

Same problem here.  With so many people having this problem, one would think it would be easy for you guys to repro and fix this. I pay the monthly fee, and find this unacceptable. 

 

I'm wondering if it has something to do with me being logged in at work on my computer while trying to play from my iPhone at home. 

 

Ive had this issue in the past but was always able to just restart the song or app. Now it just sits there as if it was playing but the timeline does not advance. I tried updating the app and still have the same problem. Definitely a server side issue.

Its been 6 days since I have not been able to play a single song for longer than 1:30sec. It is absolutely pointless having this premium account and paying for it.

 

I would like my monthly subscription refunded.


I, like at least 20-30 others on the forum have the exact same issue and we at getting increasingly frustrated at the lack of response from your 'support' group. 

 

I have emailed the contact us on the spotify site along with multiple tweets @spotifystatus, @spotifycares, @spotifynz and @spotify...

 

Next is to media in NZ...

 

All I want is to get heard and have this issue resolved  or get a refund on my subscription 

Indeed Icodebot, we feel the exact same way. We really don't understand why we are unable to re-produce this as we have been looking into it for a long time, ever since we began to see complaints here on the forums and on the AppStore reviews.

 

Being logged in on another computer isn't the issue, if another device tries to play no the same account, the previous device that was playing music will pause and there will be a dialogue explaining that this happened.

 

Could you guys try out our "Spotify for iOS 4" application and see if the issue exists there as well? Please report back if you still experience the issue when using that one instead.

Hi, Spotify works perfectly on my PC and iPad, but on my Ipod the music stops after about 90 secs. Would like to rename the app into Stopify.
