Spotify trial lasts longer

I have the 48 hour trial for spotify. One day a friend said that if you set your system date a few years back your spotify trial would last longer. So I tried. It didn't work so i did set it back. Now it says 10000 days left.(see the attachment.) So my question is : Is this illegal? Please answer.

Pretty sure it will just be a bug, I would imagine the subscription length remaining is calculated on Spotify's servers rather than on your device. What does your subscription stauts on your online overview say?
