Spotify won't sync songs to offline

Hi, there! Ok I'm really hoping someone here can help me because I'm starting to get a little upset. I have an iphone 5s running ios 7 with over 8GB of memory left and the version of spotify I have is 0.9.1.230, which I assume is the latest version since I just downloaded the app like two days ago. The problem is that after I add a song to my playlist, sometimes it will not switch to the offline mode so I can listen to it without having to use internet data. I've tried deleting the songs and re-adding them, I've tried doing a soft reset on my phone (home button and power button), I've made absolute sure that offline mode is enabled on each list, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app for good measure, but nothing works. This wouldn't be TOO horrible, except for the fact that for some reason I can't listen to more than like four online songs in a row without spotify having to take like three minutes to buffer before it will play another one, which is highly annoying. I think the concept of spotify is absolutely amazing, but right now, it really isn't worth the money I'm spending. If it were a free service, I could understand all of these problems, but I am paying monthly and not really being able to listen to my music. I did one of those form things to contact customer support since they don't provide a phone number, and all the guy did was tell me to restart my phone, and when I told him that didn't work, he just never replied. Is there anyone at all that can help me please? I would DEFINITELY appreciate it! Thanks so much in advance.

No I can turn that switch on. However, not all of the songs will switch to offline mode, only some of them will.

Are any of the songs local files you put in the playlist on your desktop?

No they are not. I don't have spotify on my computer yet.

Aha! Found a solution! I connected it to wifi and went through and synced every one of my songs! Thanks for your help!
