Spotify wont open when connected to bluetooth

I recently started using spotify with bluetooth, whenever i connect to the device, music will play but i cant open my spotify app. It just stays on a black screen with the spotify logo. I can change songs from the lock screen on my phone, but can not open the app. Using on an IPhone X

Same for me. While connected to my Car radio won’t allow me to use mobile app. Moving or parked.
