Hi, spotify on my iphone starts to stop in the middle of a song and i have to jump all the time to keep it playing.
Should i delete spotify and reinstall and sync it again? 😞

i have the same problem but it has been going on for over a week now. i mentioned it already in the hot topic: "New iPad app stops playing.. buffers... (longtime)...". Though no spotify official has come up with a solution. I removed and installed the spotify app for like 10 times by now i also tryed the ios4 app. All have the same problem. Offline syncing also acts weird, sometimes it just syncs like 10 songs in 10 seconds and then gets stuck at the 11th song. I tryed using google DNS as some user suggested but it didn't make any difference.
By now i have tryed it on 3 different wi-fi networks with different ISP's and also my 3g from my mobile provider gives the same problems. All other internet apps work fine so it is not a internet problem on my or my providers side.
So at the moment my ISP is paying for my premium subscription of what i can only use the pc application. Since i haven't got a solution yet or atleast a reply from an official i am close to telling my isp to stop the subscription. it is of no use to me at the moment.
Did anyone ever find a solution to this problem? I just started having it yesterday. The app seems to stop every 2 minutes or so.
Spotify keeps stalling during the first song on my iPhone. SO ANNOYING. I closed my account a few months back because I was never able to resolve the issue. Now it's started again and Spotify apparently has no support. I have deleted and reinstalled the application to no avail. Whether I use wifi of 3G, the issue persists. I have plenty of memory and all software is up to date. Based on what I'm reading on the forum, I'm one of several people with this issue. Something is clearly wrong with Spotify, not my phone. I'm getting ready to cancel my account again and try and have my money refunded by denying payment. Has anyone actually found a resolution to this issue?!!! If I close the app I can reopen it and the first song I select will start and then stall about 2 minutes into the song. Issue has started about a week ago.
Spotify on my iPad2 has now been useless for almost 2 weeks.
Songs stop playing after 1-2 minutes and I have reinstalled the app 10 times to no avail.
If this issue is not soon fixed I will have to quit my premium membership...
And WHY IS THERE NO USEFULL RESPONSE FROM SPOTIFY ??? So disappointing....

might as well involve the community as well! have tried sending a message at http://bit.ly/spotify-support which I found on Twitter but that doesn't seem to be working? would be good to know exactly how you wish your customers are to manage issues concerning support? Anyway.. for almost a week now I have been experiencing the exact same issues mentioned in this thread. I have not been able to stream AT ALL on my Iphone for almost a week now. I have synced the phone thru Itunes several times and unistalled/reinstalled the Spotify-app on the phone itself as well. when I do this streaming resumes for a couple of minutes, stops, and then completly dies. today I looked at the latest reviews for the app and can see that I am not alone. does anyone read these reviews? what is the 'solution' mentioned above? can't see more than I've already done on my own? kind of a slap in the face to log in here and see that 'all systems are up and feeling jolly good' ! for me the system hasn't even been thru ups and downs! it's been constantly dormant for a week - and the same goes for the response level for your support.. services I'm paying for!.. for the record I can say that I've had the app almost as long as I've had an Iphone, about a couple of years with no major issues, but now that there seems to be major problems I'm very dissapointed with how you seem to be handling this. I mean I'm paying for premium solely to be able to listen on my phone and now that I can't I'm getting zero response.. not ok! hope this works out better..
Nope. I've reinstalled it several times and it doesn't work. Even makes it worse because playlists now don't sync.
I'm having this issue on my iPhone 4 as well.
Songs stop playing 1 minute in. It seems like it has been happening since this newer update.
Weird thing is, my iPad app is doing fine *knocks on wood*.
Last time I was having issues, I deleted starred songs and it worked. No more starred songs for me.
So, I thought, maybe this time I would delete some playlists.... Doesn't work.
I think Spotify needs to create another update that fixes this issue ASAP.
Paying for premium seems like a waste if I can't use it!
yes so does mine i am sick of it it i have tried everything time to delete it for good
i have tried all your suggestion but everytime i use my iphone the songs stop 2 min into the song am done with spotify unless you come up with a solution
My situation is even stranger.
Not only do my songs stop playing, songs from a playlist that's not mine begin playing.
