My Question or Issue

When I try to search “podcasts” there are zero results. I moved from Apple Music to Spotify but if I cannot listen to podcasts there then I guess I will need to switch back.

That doesn't look right. Let's get you back listening! Could you restart your device and see if you get any results then? If that didn't help, could you try opening Podcasts with a different network connection (e.g. Wi-Fi/4G)? Let me know how you get on!

I restarted my phone, tried searching on 4G and on WiFi. Still, nothing shows up here. Then I tried to search for specific podcast, but no shows there.

That's definitely odd! Does this also happen on other devices? Also, could you try using a different Spotify account? Let me know how you get on!

Hi! Nope, still doesn’t work. Doesn’t work on other devices as well. I have 1 account for 2 people and the second person doesn’t see any podcasts on her devices as well. I went back to apple podcasts. Maybe podcasts on Spotify don’t work in Kazakhstan? But if music works then I think podcasts should too.

You're right, podcasts are currently not available in Kazakhstan. We want all the world’s music and podcasts on Spotify, but availability can vary over time and between countries, depending on the permissions from rights holders.

We add new content to Spotify every day, so if hopefully we'll be able to launch podcasts in your country as soon as possible.

2 years later there are still no podcasts in Kazakhstan 😤. I think we should not wait for the addition of podcasts in Kazakhstan? Which country to specify in the profile using vpn to add podcasts?
