Turn off recommended songs?

I am new to Spotify premium, I have spent days researching how to stop recommended songs from playing while I listen to my created playlists and can’t make it stop. It will play 1 song from my list and then just start playing random songs that are nothing like my playlist. I have gone to settings and turned off the auto play option, I have deleted a playlist after that and remade it to try again and it’s still the same. Is this just how Spotify works? Are users required to listen to recommended songs on their playlists? I’d really like to know because, if that’s how Spotify works, I’d like to cancel my account. Please advise.

Just add silent tracks at the end.

I have premium. I would just like to remove all recommendations on playlists, I make loads of them and they have a fixed theme, so no other songs on them are appropriate.

I have a song playlist were all the songs have Monday (or Mondays) in the title. None of their recommendations have the word Monday in the title. They'd be doing better if they chase the owners of the Seraphims and Gerry T songs on my playlist which are local only. (Both called Monday Morning and I think both released in 2011)

Really?!!!  ???!  You have to be kidding!  That is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard!  Spotify.  Do better.
