USB Car Audio Connectivity Issues

Use my iphone in our 2012 Chevy Equinox to play iTunes, Pandora, and Spotify. Connect to stereo using USB so that is displays album art and track info. Spotify is the only app that consistently disconnects my iphone from the car stereo. While listening to a track it beeps like I am changing the track and then disconnects. I cannot even listen to one full track without the disconnection problem. Hope an update will fix this issue. We pay for Spotify premium and one of our main uses is in the car. Thanks!
