Unable to open podcasts

To whom can help me,

I would like to listen to podcasts on my Ipod Touch, but I get a message saying that 'this type of link cannot be opened on this device'. Is there anything I can do? The software seems to be up to date (of both Spotify and the Ipod Touch).
