Unable to share or find spotify users

Brief description of the issue: I am not able to find other friends on community or share songs/playlist by finding friends on my iphone 6s spotify app even though I have premium subscription
Steps to reproduce the issue:
Scenario 1
1.Select more menu from current song
2. Select Share option
3 select send to option
4 select 'select people'
5 put user id of spotify user (every existing user id I tried, it responded "no results "

Scenario 2
1 from menu select notification icon (bell) next to settings icon at bottom
2 select 'find friends ' button under activity (no users are displayed)
3. Tap on filter (filter field hides under find friends header so it's invisible but keyboard shows to type)

What steps you’ve tried already:
Your device and operating system : iphone 6s, ios 9.2.1
Type of Spotify account you have (Free or Premium): Premium
The app version of Spotify you’re using: 4.8.0.1085

I have this same issue following the same steps. iPhone 5s IOS 9.2.1

Spotify Version 5.0.0.992

This is a known bug with the iOS app. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

It does work in the desktop app, so you can try that in the meantime.
