The new update that happened to my phone yesterday (4/19/18) totally **bleep** up my spotify app experience on my iphone.

My radio stations are gone and the radio feature isn't available anymore and i can't access it on the app. I deleted the app and downloaded it again and its still the same.

The icon at the bottom of the interface that says radio is gone and replaced with a premium icon that wants me to try it. And I don't want too! I just want my stations back and the ability to create more. I don't like this at all. Someone please help! I don't want to hear shuffled playlists of the same artist. The tech person said its a test of some sort but didn't say if it will end or return to normal. This sucks!

The tech person said and I quote: "At this moment, there's no way get the old layout or interface.. we think this is a good idea... We're sorry that this means you're not able to use the app like you could before."

This is some **bleep**!

Hey @Citizen1 Sorry for the inconvenience,

 

There might be a way to get your old version back but i cant guarantee that it might work but it doesnt hurt to try. Go to this link and it will tell you what you can do. Also a recommendation is to backup your files just incase something goes wrong while trying to get the older version

This happend to me too. I then decide to see if they have moved the 'Artist Radio' feature to premium, I have signed up to a 30 day trial and guess what... the feature came back as soon as I did this.

So it would seem they have moved this feature to paying customers only and removed it for the non paying customers, which is just awful! I just cant afford to pay £9.99 a month... SPOTIFY bring this feature back for non paying customers! 

Are you a free user? It sounds like you have the new design in the mobile app for free users.

 

The free version of Spotify no longer has the radio feature.

Yes thanks for this, I found this out when I subscribed to the 30 x day free trial. I'm rather upset with Spotify for taking this feature away as this is the main reason I used the service.
