Video playing on Apple TV when using airplay from ipad

Hi,
when I play music from iPad to Apple TV via AirPlay, a strange Spotify video is beeing looped on the TV instead of album cover as it use to do. It won’t stop! Really annoying. In addition, you can’t adjust the volume on the iPad anymore, only on the tv. Why is that?

I haven’t updated the Spotify app recently, the problem occurred when I logged out and in again. I don’t know if the Apple TV was being updated recently because it is on auto-update.

Please Spotify can you give me a solution for this! I have searched but old treads don’t suggest a solution! I really hope this has been solved as it Is too annoying to actually use AirPlay the way it is supposed to work.
