Viewing album information

I listen to a lot of classical music, some very esoteric. The information that Spotify lists is not very pertinent - for instance, I want composer name, movement number, etc and what I usually get is the artist name. Is there any way to change the view options or to look at the album notes that would come with a CD purchase?

Classical music tagging has been a problem from the start of the digital era unfortunately. There's no way to get more information in Spotify but you might want to check out this idea.
