When Playing an Album on Shuffle, Random Songs are Inserted

I recently started using Spotify free to see how I liked the service.  On my desktop it works fine, but I've noticed an issue with playback on my phone.

When I select an album from an artist, I only have the option to Shuffle Play.  I assume that's because I'm on the free version.  When I click that, I can see all the songs from the album (in this case, a 12-song album) in my list.  However, after two or three songs, it will play one or two random, recommended songs.  I can see that there are still plenty of songs left from the album in "Next On Shuffle", but even if the album was finished I have disabled the Autoplay option.

I'm new to the app, so I'm hoping there's just some other setting that I'm missing somewhere.

Hey @PB26, thanks for coming to the Spotify Community!

Suggested songs while listening to playlists and albums on mobile is also a Spotify Free feature, and there is currently no way to disable it. The larger the selection of songs you're shuffling is, the less suggested songs that will play.

It's a real shame - I have had premium for ages but downgraded whilst I have free applemusic for a few months.....

frankly it's annoying me so much I have decided to drop spotify completely - it's like the app designers have never actually used it.
