Why wont the new image save on playlist?

I’ve read through old posts, but have never been able to save a new image to a playlist on my phone. It always havs to be saved from my laptop. My previous phone had this issue, too (iphone 10). Currently using iphone 14, iOs 17.3.1. I deleted and reinstalled the app. Previous posts talked about a bug that had been fixed, but this hasn’t helped me.

Just to check, do you notice any difference after clearing stored cache? Once it's done, make sure to log out from your account and back in again twice in a row. As odd as this may sound, completing these steps should resync your account info.

Also, if possible, could you try adding the photo using another internet connection to see if the same thing happens? For example, if you're currently connected to WiFi, you can try with 4G/5G.
