iOS App and Alarm?

Spotify has become my primary music app for my iPod Touch, so I've run into a bit of a problem. I like to set alarms while working so I don't disrupt my work by constantly looking at the clock, but I have yet to find an alarm app that recognizes the data on Spotify as MP3s. They all pull from the standard iTunes, which obviously limits me. And I'm probably doubling my problems by wanting to be able to listen to music through Spotify on my iPod at the same time.

Has anyone found maybe a workaround? I don't see it becoming a feature of the mobile App, so I'm hoping to find a way to get what I love and get what I need to work together.
